Public Speaking, Presentation and Influencing Skills Coaching and Training in Sydney
If you – or your organisation – aren’t getting the results needed from public speaking or presenting, it’s because either the content, structure or delivery isn’t working as well as it could.
The three elements for successful speaking:
The delivery aspect is often hindered by nerves or discomfort about public speaking – although not always.
If you’re in Sydney, there are different ways you can learn from me to improve your speaking skills.
Learn through:
- Private 1:1 coaching.
- In-house training programs and workshops.
- Online self-study courses.
- Public group courses.
Here’s more information on each option, plus links to learn more:
1. Private 1:1 coaching.
Whether you’re new to your work, have accepted a new role, or are managing or leading a team large or small, I can help to build or refine your public speaking, presentation or influencing skills – and your mindset if that’s needed.
You may be leading yourself, a team, or an organisation.
Coaching methodology
The coaching process – which is delivered online virtually – maintains your authenticity and strengths, and your vision and goals are always respected.
I’m always positive and encouraging but will also give you clear feedback that cuts through directly to what you need.
And you can be encouraged into a bigger comfort zone arena if that’s what you feel you need!
If you’re concerned about the online aspect, be reassured that it’s a highly effective way to work. I have clients globally, as well as nationally, and they’re very happy with the results delivered through online coaching.

You’ll receive interactive, practical, enjoyable training, using ‘sticky’ tools and techniques.
No over-loading with information, but full of workable, repeatable tips, these programs get visible, often instant, results. Finish the training and use the skills the same or very next day!
Research-based and proven to work, they’ve helped over 10,000 clients in the past 14 years.
Book a one-off workshop, training series, keynote or Masterclass in-house at your Sydney workplace or venue of your choice.
3. Online self-study courses.
Want to improve your public speaking confidence and skills, but can’t get to a live class or workshop in Sydney?
You may live regionally or remotely, or do shift-work, or FIFO. Or maybe you don’t feel ready to be part of a group yet.
If you need to speak at work or socially and are avoiding it…or sometimes feel as though your skills are on the scale from ‘disappointing’ to ‘dismal’ – I get it.
You know the content in your mind, you’re articulate as you think through your points. And you know that you’ve got a good brain.
But the words and ideas don’t always come out of your mouth the way you intend them to, and you’re letting yourself down.
It doesn’t have to be like this. No matter how long it’s been going on for, you can make solid, permanent improvements.
Speaking well is a mixture of confidence and competence…and one way to start your journey safely and in your own time, is through an online public speaking course.
4. Public small-group courses.
Do you want to learn and practise new skills in a small, safe, group course?
If you’d like to join a public group, it’s often the best place to work on your skills: particularly if you’re nervous or anxious about speaking.
Practising and learning in a small, safe supportive group where other participants understand your challenges and goals is empowering and accelerate your speaking and learning goals.
And in these courses, specifically designed over a few weeks, you’ll make real progress.
There are currently two course level options, foundational and advanced. Both run every few months in Melbourne and I can also run these public speaking courses in Sydney if there are enough enrolments to form a group.
You can register your interest to join a Sydney Complete Presentation Skills course.
And if you’d like to discuss any of these options, either for yourself or your organisation, please book a Discovery chat with me.
Sarah is an extraordinarily effective speaking coach. I’ve had multiple coaching sessions with her, and every time I’ve left with a great deal of learning that has really translated into noticeable impact in my presentations.
Before coming to Sarah I already had a fair bit of experience with speaking. Sarah listened intently to my goals and asked amazing questions to help clarify where I wanted to improve. She then workshopped some things with me and gave me amazing feedback as I practiced doing my presentation.
This was both inspiring and encouraging as she drew out the things I was doing well so that I could double-down on them, and really edifying through highlighting areas I can improve and different ways an audience could interpret my message.
You can tell that Sarah truly cares, and the quality and quantity of feedback from her made a significant difference for me. An expert in her craft, has amazing insights, and is a really supportive and effective coach.
I’d highly recommend her to anyone who is looking to improve in their speaking, in a way that helps them become more authentically themself and find their unique voice and style.
I had a great experience working with Sarah over the last couple of months on the public speaking and executive communication skills. Sarah’s knowledge of the field is extensive, and she continuously went the extra mile to address my specific questions. Looking forward to working with Sarah in the future.
I encourage anyone looking to develop their interpersonal skills to reach out to Sarah. I cannot recommend her Speaker’s Confluence program enough as it’s helped me gain the confidence and skills to have more engaging interactions.
She has the ability to tailor courses to your specific needs so you can target and hone specific skills rather than a generic overview. 10/10 recommend!
Sarah has helped me prepare for an upcoming conference in which I will be presenting. The entire process has been extremely helpful and I am very grateful for the assistance she has provided. I recommend to anyone looking to improve their public speaking abilities!
